Professional User Agent & System Analysis

Your browser reveals a surprising amount of information to every website you visit. This "digital fingerprint" can be used to track you even without cookies. Our browser info check helps you understand exactly what your browser is telling the world.

What is my user agent?

The user agent string identifies your browser version, operating system, and hardware architecture to the server.

Browser Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting combines variables like screen resolution, installed fonts, and hardware details to create a unique ID for your device.

Enhancing System Privacy

By using WhatIsMyID's system fingerprint profiler, you can identify which details are being leaked and take steps to minimize your trackable footprint.

Browser Fingerprint — FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions about this tool.

What is browser fingerprinting?

A technique that combines dozens of small browser signals — user agent, screen size, fonts, canvas hash, WebGL vendor, etc. — to identify you across sites without cookies.

Can I prevent fingerprinting?

Most consumer browsers leak enough signal to be tracked. Tor Browser and Mullvad Browser flatten the most identifying signals; Firefox's "resistFingerprinting" helps too.

Why is my user agent so long?

Browsers append a chain of compatibility tokens for legacy reasons (Mozilla/5.0, AppleWebKit, KHTML, like Gecko, Chrome, Safari…). It does not actually mean you are running Mozilla.
