Precise IP Geolocation & Map Tracking

Look up the approximate geographic location of any public IPv4 or IPv6 address on an interactive world map. See country, city, ISP, timezone and coordinates — useful for verifying VPN exit nodes, fraud checks and network diagnostics.

Geolocation is approximate and derived from public IP databases. The position shown reflects the ISP's registration data — not your physical address — and may be off by tens or hundreds of kilometres. Mobile carriers and CGNAT operators are particularly imprecise. See Terms of Service §5.

Advanced IP Location Tracking Intelligence

Understanding the physical location of an IP address is crucial for fraud detection, targeted content delivery, and network security. Our IP location tracker uses a combination of database registry data and latency-based triangulation to provide precise coordinates.

Where is my IP?

Asking "where is my IP" reveals the geographic point of exit for your internet connection. If you are using a VPN, this map will show the location of the VPN server, not your physical home.

Precision IP Geolocation

Precise IP geolocation & map tracking involves mapping an IP to a Latitude and Longitude. While this usually targets the ISP's data center or a regional hub, it provides a highly accurate neighborhood-level estimation.

Interactive Map Tracking

Our interactive Leaflet-based map allows you to visualize your network's position on the globe and verify that your privacy tools are projecting the correct locale.

IP Geolocation — FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions about this tool.

How accurate is IP geolocation?

Country-level accuracy is typically 95%+. City-level is 50–80% and only as good as the upstream geo databases. Mobile and VPN IPs are often off by hundreds of km.

Why does my IP show in a different city?

Your ISP may route through a regional gateway, or the geo database may be outdated. We display the centroid of the registered allocation, not your exact street.

Do you log IPs you look up?

No. Lookups are forwarded to public geo APIs from your browser; we do not record the queries on our side.
